Comba Telecom Launches Distributed Antenna Systems Solutions for the North American Market

Expands In-Building and Outdoor Wireless Solutions Portfolio

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 26 -- Comba Telecom Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited ("Comba" or "the Group", Hong Kong stock code: 2342), leading wireless solutions provider, announced the general availability of its range of in-building and outdoor active distributed antenna systems (DAS) solutions to the North American market.  With a high degree of flexibility in applications and customization, Comba's point-to-multipoint DAS solution offers efficient coverage and capacity enhancement at optimal capital (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) for customers.

Featuring multi-band and dual band repeaters the DAS is an active RF solution designed specifically to enhance wireless communications networks and supports all major frequencies such as 700MHz, 850MHz, 1900MHz, and 2100 MHz as well as GSM, CDMA, WCDMA and LTE standards.

With its modular design, the Comba DAS solution allows maximum scalability without the need for replacing existing fiber and antenna systems -- thereby allowing the system to easily accommodate growing capacity and coverage demands on the network.  Thus, wireless network operators are able to effortlessly expand the reach of their voice and data services using DAS rather than the deploying additional base stations, hence realizing efficiencies in CAPEX and OPEX compared to traditional network architectures.

Through a web-based management software, users are able to fully control the system with remote monitoring and parameter adjustments such as uplink, downlink and threshold settings for example.  Therefore, operators deploying Comba's feature-rich DAS solution are equipped with an extremely flexible system to maximize network coverage and capacity to meet customer needs and realize optimization of network resources.

Mr. Augustin Chang, General Manager of Comba Telecom Inc. said, "DAS solutions are one of the most cost-effective solutions for distributing RF coverage to in-building and outdoor environments rapidly and efficiently.  As such, we are delighted to bring the latest DAS offerings from Comba to the local market. Our tried-and-tested solutions have been successfully deployed in numerous projects around the world such as the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai for example."
