Mr. Jim's Pizza Launches New Free iPhone App With $500 Grand Prize Contest
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas, March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Customers of Mr. Jim's Pizza, Inc., headquartered here, can now order their favorite pizzas directly from their iPhones with the new Mr. Jim's Pizza iPhone app. This iPhone app has a number of excellent features:
-- Order any Mr. Jim's Pizza product
-- Find your nearest Mr. Jim's Pizza location
-- Get access to coupons and special offers
-- Read detailed nutritional information about Mr. Jim's products
-- Play games like Tic-Tac-Toe, Who's Paying, and Pick Six
To get access to this free app, just go to the iTunes App Store and enter "jims" in the search box to find and download the app.
"We have for the past decade had an active program to be the first 21st Century pizza chain. We were the first chain to have on-line ordering in all stores. Now, with the launch of this iPhone app, we are once again using technology to become more available to our customers and enhancing our customers' experience," says Mr. Jim, founder of Mr. Jim's Pizza. Mr. Jim continues, "As far as we know, we are only the second pizza chain to have developed and programmed a mobile ordering app from the ground up. We did not license this app from a third party, so we were able to add the features most important to our customers."
Mr. Jim's is also introducing their new Pick Six contest in which a customer uses the iPhone app to select and submit six numbers. Each week there will be a drawing from the winning entries for a free pizza. As a special added incentive, there will be an additional, one-time-only drawing on April 15, 2011 for a $500 Grand Prize.
Only one Grand Prize of $500 will be awarded. Mr. Jim's employees, suppliers, and their families are not eligible to win. Only one entry per iPhone will be accepted.
