Cablevision and Bright House Networks Execs join BelAir Networks CEO onstage to share Cable Wi-Fi best practices
CHICAGO, June 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cable Show 2011 -- With tens of 1000's of Cable Wi-Fi APs deployed worldwide, and US operators clearly in the lead, The Cable Show 2011 is featuring live BelAir Networks Cable Wi-Fi in The Park area of the exhibit floor as well as a "Cable Wi-Fi: Broadband to Go" panel comprised of senior execs from Cablevision, Bright House Networks and BelAir Networks (Tuesday, June 14, 1:30 PM).
The Park concept is new at The Cable Show 2011. Incorporating a live-events stage in a park-like setting on the exhibit floor (booth #2231), The Park highlights the cable industry's broadband innovation and leadership. The live Cable Wi-Fi network in The Park is powered by the new BelAir100SNE, BelAir Networks 3rd generation Cable Wi-Fi solution comprising a number of industry firsts, including:
-- First cable-optimized Wi-Fi access point (AP) with standards-based
beamforming
-- First GPS-enabled Wi-Fi AP designed to support location-based
advertising and services
-- First Wi-Fi AP with integrated Business Intelligence (BI) features
providing operators with real-time and historical, location-based and

The new BelAir20E indoor Wi-Fi AP will also be running live at BelAir Networks booth #1830.
