StackIQ Releases Beta Version of Rocks+ Big Data

SAN DIEGO, June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- StackIQ today announced the immediate availability of a beta release of Rocks+ Big Data, the cluster automation solution for Apache Hadoop. By packaging their intelligent multi-server automation and management framework with a complete Hadoop software stack, StackIQ provides a single, modular distribution for spinning up scalable Hadoop clusters. The beta release supports selected open source Apache Hadoop distributions, including the one from MapR Technologies.
