VideoIQ Introduces Low Temperature iCVR High-Definition and D1 Dome Cameras

Low Temperature Dome Cameras Extend Temperature Range to -30 Degrees Celsius

BEDFORD, Mass., Sept. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- VideoIQ, the leader in video surveillance innovation, today announced the addition of low temperature models of its iCVR-HD high-definition cameras and iCVR D1 dome cameras to their product line.  Low temperature models extend the camera's operating ranges to -30 degrees Celsius, without the need for supplemental heating, allowing them to function in extreme conditions.

VideoIQ's all-in-one iCVR video surveillance solutions deliver up to full 1080p/30 high-definition video, zero bandwidth recording, and zero calibration adaptive analytics.  Unlike conventional IP video surveillance systems which face significant bandwidth and storage challenges, VideoIQ's iCVR dome cameras store video in up to 500GB of onboard storage for months worth of recording while reducing network traffic and bandwidth consumption by over 90 percent.  Additionally, VideoIQ's adaptive analytics never need calibrating, eliminating the need to manually tune or adjust the analytics over the life of the device - dramatically reducing installation and maintenance costs.

"We continue to provide innovative solutions which solve real customers' problems," said Ed Bednarcik, president and CEO of VideoIQ.  "By offering dome camera models with extended low temperature capability, we've made it easier for users to benefit from full high-definition images, category leading adaptive analytics, and distributed storage - even in the most extreme conditions."

The low temperature iCVR-HD and iCVR D1 dome camera models are available immediately.
