Usually concealed behind the fortress-like protection of mantraps, CCTV,
security guards and biometric scanning, Interxion gave limited access to key
areas across its data centres in order to show how its facilities act as the
technology backbone of some of Europe's most successful businesses.
The data centre images captured in the photographs illustrate different
aspects of high-availability data centre infrastructure, such as power,
cooling, connectivity and security, all of which are essential to ensure
24/7 availability. The infrastructure shown has attracted a number of
customer communities or 'hubs' across the financial, cloud, digital media
and gaming sectors. Interxion's hubs allow businesses to generate revenue by
interconnecting with other customers and building new relationships with
organisations operating in similar sectors while providing them with access
to one of Europe's largest pool of businesses and private customers.
