Expedia Affiliate Network Powers Bookings Through Japan's JALAN.NET

Expedia, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXPE), the world's largest online travel company,
today announced that Expedia(R) Affiliate Network (EAN) is now powering
hotel bookings through Japan's JALAN (http://www.jalan.net), one of Japan's
largest hotel reservation websites, operated by Recruit Co. Ltd. In addition
to JALAN's own inventory, JALAN will be adding a selection of EAN's global
inventory to its hotel portfolio, bringing the total number of international
hotels offered by JALAN to over 80,000. This new integration also extends
the reach of EAN's hotel booking platform to JALAN's more than five million
monthly visitors.
JALAN is using the new EAN Hotel API v3, which delivers Expedia's
expansive global hotel selection, booking tools and great rates on a private
label basis. "We are pleased that JALAN has selected EAN to expand their
international hotel inventory, a testimony to the solutions that EAN offers
