Telstra International Launches Global DDoS Protection

LONDON, December 21, 2011/PRNewswire/ --

             Service filters traffic on customer Internet connections to Telstra
International's global IP backbone to mitigate the impact of distributed denial of service

                                      (DDoS) attacks

    Telstra International, a leading global supplier of managed network and hosted
services, today launched its Global Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Protection
solution. This new service provides added protection to multinational customers'
Internet-facing infrastructure against a wide range of DDoS attacks.

    The service offers 'in the cloud' protection and mitigation of DDoS attack traffic,
averting congestion of customer Internet connections and protecting customer web
infrastructure, whilst legitimate, clean traffic is delivered to the customer.

extensive analysis and highly effective mitigation and traffic cleaning through global
cleaning centres. It also offers Telstra customers near real-time visibility to traffic
and service status information via a web-based reporting portal.
