iHealth Lab Launches Personalized Web Portal to Store Your Vitals

New service backs up personal weight and blood pressure readings instantly

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- (Consumer Electronics Show) - iHealth Lab Inc., the pioneering designer and manufacturer of mobile personal healthcare products including the iHealth Blood Pressure Dock and iHealth Digital Scale today announced the availability of its new Cloud Service offering.  Available immediately when users download latest version of the companion mobile apps for iHealth's Blood Pressure Dock and Digital Scale, the free service will enable users to instantly store their test results from their iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad in the cloud.

The new features of the free, easy-to-use service include:

--  Ongoing data integration of data points from the iHealth Blood Pressure
        Dock and iHealth Digital Scale
--  Simple set up: simply create a unique user name and password
    --  Data backup
    --  Immediate uploads of information
--  Easy to share and email data in a user-friendly spreadsheet format
"Studies have shown that people can better manage and prevent a variety of health conditions by just measuring, tracking and sharing their health-related information, like weight and blood pressure, over time," said Adam Lin, GM of iHealth Lab. "By creating a place online where all of your health-related data can be monitored and stored, we can enable more and more people to get a better picture of their overall health."

How It Works The iHealth Cloud Service allows users of the companion mobile apps for the iHealth Blood Pressure Dock and iHealth Digital Scale to instantly back-up and store their results in the cloud.

Once a profile is created or an existing profile is opened in the companion mobile apps, users can log onto the Cloud Service home page with the same credentials.  Once logged in, users are brought to a home page linking to their personal data on any of their mobile devices.  On the data page users can track, graph and share their results as soon as they receive them.

Data points are shown chronologically and ranges can be set for viewing the data.  iHealth's Blood Press Dock's readings conveniently show up already classified according to the color-coded World Health Organization's (WHO) classifications.  iHealth Digital Scale's data shows weight fluctuations over time and records results in relation to daily activity, time of day, diet and exercise.  With one click users can graph and share data to instantly keep their doctors, friends and family notified of progress.

The service is available today when you download the latest version of the free companion mobile apps for iHealth Blood Pressure Dock and iHealth Digital Scale from the App Store.
