Voyager Hosts Complimentary Summer School Solutions Webinar

DALLAS, Feb. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Voyager, a member of Cambium Learning® Group serving at-risk and special student populations through strategic and intensive comprehensive interventions, invites educators to join a one-hour complimentary summer school solutions webinar titled, "I 'heart' Summer" on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.

Summer school presents an opportunity to prevent summer learning loss, close the achievement gap, and cultivate an experience that intrigues and motivates students to love learning. This educational webinar, moderated by Shauna Williams, senior product consultant for Voyager, will discuss research-based summer interventions and implementation tips and tricks for helping students experience success this summer and beyond. About the Moderator

Shauna Williams has more than 20 years of education experience and began her career as a bilingual pre-kindergarten teacher in Texas.  Shauna brought her teaching expertise from the classroom into the publishing world as an educational consultant, and is currently the senior product consultant for both the Texas and Southwest Regions at Voyager.  She provides in-depth curriculum presentations to educators that demonstrate how Voyager's curricula utilize current scientific-based research to deliver solutions that bring all students to grade-level proficiency in reading and math. Shauna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Houston.
