EXFO Will Showcase the New BrixHawk Distributed Analyzer at Mobile World Congress 2012
Designed for mobile network troubleshooting and network service
optimization, this new solution is now commercially available and
currently under evaluation with several tier-1 customers

EXF) announced today that the new BrixHawk Distributed Analyzer will be
showcased at Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona (February 27 to March
1, 2012). Now commercially available, this latest EXFO innovation
addresses a currently urgent need for measuring network and application
quality of service (QoS) and determining subscribers' quality of
experience (QoE).
Thanks to superior performance, real-time capabilities and integrated
deep packet inspection (DPI) technology, the BrixHawk DA offers more
advanced user-plane analysis, enabling the functional and quality
issues experienced by subscribers to be found--and fixed--faster. In
addition to increasing efficiency and reducing risk during network
rollout, this helps retain more satisfied customers and reduce
testing-related OPEX once the network is deployed. Significantly faster
LTE/3G network rollouts can be achieved while increasing confidence in
a first-time-right launch.
Based on a modular architecture, the BrixHawk DA system delivers
real-time analysis results and can easily be scaled up as testing needs
change, enabling customers to only invest as needed. For example, they
can later evolve to a 24/7/365 network monitoring solution and reuse
their BrixHawk DA hardware and software investment to scale their
