Sesame Street brings fun educational content to millions of children around the world, inspiring learning while teaching valuable life lessons. The episodes available on LeapPad are from Sesame Street's most recent television season which focuses on a science-based curriculum. In this season, Sesame Street's curriculum promotes curiosity and exploration in children by encouraging them to ask specific questions, generating excitement about the inner workings of their environment. In one story, scientists Elmo, Rosita, and Telly set out to find the answer to a very pressing question: does everyone take a bath? Also: Wanda Sykes shares her secret journal with Elmo, and Will.i.am sings "What I Am" with the Sesame Street friends. Murray presents the letter F with the help of an astronaut, while the Two-Headed Monster adds seven pigs and seven chickens to make 14!  In another episode, Bert is searching for the rare blue-bar pigeon, the only pigeon he's never seen. Can Elmo and Abby help him find this elusive feathered friend? And lastly in this episode: Modern Family's Julie Bowen introduces the word "binoculars."

"Sesame Workshop has been a true pioneer in early childhood educational media for more than 40 years. Millions of children have grown up learning and laughing with stories and songs featuring beloved Sesame Street friends Elmo, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch," said Jill Waller, vice president of multimedia learning at LeapFrog. "We are honored to partner with Sesame Workshop to help children build the skills they need to succeed in school and life with content that focuses on core curriculum, reasoning skills and emotional development. The opportunity to collaborate with this amazing, timeless brand and distribute their enriching entertainment is the perfect next step to further LeapFrog's mission of helping every child reach his or her potential."

"Sesame Workshop's mission is to use the educational power of media to help children everywhere reach their highest potential. Together LeapFrog and Sesame Workshop will empower children to explore learning with their friends from Sesame Street," said Scott Chambers, senior vice president, Worldwide Media Distribution, Sesame Workshop.
