BrowserMedia Is Pleased To Launch A New Site For Digestive Disease Week

BETHESDA, Md., April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- BrowserMedia is pleased to launch a new site for Digestive Disease Week (DDW), viewable at http://www.ddw.org.

"Our roll out of the new DDW website has been a wonderful success! DDW recently underwent a complete rebranding of our identity and BrowserMedia was able to capture the look and feel we required," said Ellen Silver, VP of Meetings and Conventions for DDW.

The new DDW site is is powered by the customizable BrowserCMS (an open source Ruby on Rails content management system) that incorporates easy content sharing, rapid publishing, and cross promotion of items across DDW's website. The streamlined site architecture, and simple, clean layout help to effectively promote the important message of DDW. Plus, this site is our first to be using the new BrowserCMS Mobile Module!

We created the Mobile Module to improve content delivery and load time for mobile users beyond what could be provided by other techniques, such as responsive design. This module enables the site to reuse existing content and display it in mobile-friendly templates that are fast-to-load and easy-to-use; check it out by visiting the desktop site on your mobile device.
