NTT Communications Announce VPLS Services to Underpin Cloud Strategy

NTT Communications, part of the NTT Group, one of the largest telecommunications
companies in the world, today announces additional Virtual Private LAN Services (VPLS) for
customers in Europe.
NTT Communications' VPLS service will provide next generation layer 2 Ethernet
capabilities in 30 countries across Europe, backed by 24x7 customer support, customer
portal access and leading SLA.
This gives customers:
- Multipoint, multi-site to multi-site connectivity with extensive EU
footprint
- Cost effective networking solutions for enterprises
- NTT Communications recently won Telemark's prestigious award for World Class

This is the fourth year in a row that NTT has won the award
The services have recently been purchased by Xing [http://www.xing.com ], the
professional business network with more than 12 million members worldwide. Holger Buerger,
Director Site Operations at XING, chose NTT Communications because "With high demands on
bandwidth and reliability to connect our offices and data centers we needed a pan-European
network providing excellent round trip times. The network is such a fundamental component
that we had to get that right. NTT Communications were very flexible and helpful to us in
