Opgal to Showcase Advanced Camera and Thermal Imaging Equipment at Eurosatory 2012
KARMIEL, Israel, June 6, 2012/PRNewswire/ --
On display: ultra-compact, low-power thermal imaging engines as well as enhanced
vision systems for aircraft, dual FOV uncooled thermal cameras, and ruggedized long-range
thermal cameras
Opgal Optronic Industries announced today that it will showcase its innovative line of
advanced thermal camera and imaging solutions at Eurosatory in Paris from June 11-15.
Recently named by IMS Research as one of the top ten perimeter security equipment
providers in the world, Opgal is the second largest global provider of thermal imaging
cameras to the perimeter security market in EMEA and APAC.
Opgal will be exhibiting its thermal imaging camera for the Enhanced Vision System,
made by Kollsman Inc. and Opgal - the first FAA-certified wide spectrum infrared camera.
This highly sensitive camera enables aircraft pilots to land in harsh visibility
conditions by providing clear head-up display (HUD) video images of the take-off and
landing environment. Opgal will also present the Arbel(TM) dual field-of-view (FOV)
uncooled thermal camera with a high-sensitivity uncooled microbolometer; the Golan(TM)
ruggedized long-range thermal camera that is easily integrated in OEM surveillance and
other systems; and a range of compact and low-power thermal engines, including the EyeR
Core(TM) high-end thermal imaging video engine with support for both VOx and ASi
microbolometer detectors.
Opgal's innovative thermal imaging solutions are based on 30 years of development and
are field-proven by hundreds of customers in over 50 countries. Opgal's impressive growth
has enabled it to offer one of the broadest product lines available in the perimeter
security market and to be named by IMS Research as one of the top ten perimeter security
equipment providers in the world.
