Verizon Wireless Is Bringing The Power Of Its 4G LTE Network To Ashland, Kentucky
ASHLAND, Ky., June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless today announced it is bringing the nation's largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Ashland as well as nearby Huntington, West Virginia, on June 21. With the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, customers can use their 4G LTE wireless devices in Ashland to browse the Web, listen to music, stream live video, take advantage of thousands of applications, and stay in touch with family and friends, all with speeds up to 10 times faster than before.
When Verizon Wireless turns on its 4G LTE network in Ashland, customers who live in, or visit, the Ashland area including Ceredo and Kenova, West Virginia, South Point, Ohio, Catlettsburg, Raceland and Worthington, Kentucky, and along portions of U.S. routes 60 and 23 from the Ashland Regional Airport to Huntington, West Virginia, will have access to the nation's fastest 4G network. In addition, customers in and around Huntington will be able to experience the power of Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network on June 21 as well.

Verizon Wireless customers looking to experience the nation's fastest 4G network can choose from the largest selection of 4G LTE devices, ranging from tablets, mobile hotspots, smartphones and more, including the new DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE by HTC, available in stores and online in the coming weeks.
In real-world, fully loaded network environments, Verizon Wireless 4G LTE customers should experience average data rates of 5 to 12 megabits per second (Mbps) on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink.
