AccessData OEM Connectors. Extremely lightweight, the AccessData Connectors offer .NET Application Program Interfaces (APIs). Each connector offers the ability to:
-- iterate over the structure of the remote data store
-- retrieve incremental indexing information (IDs and timestamps)
-- retrieve item metadata
-- retrieve item content
-- store data in a dtSearch index
AccessData OEM Connectors are currently available for the following content repositories: Microsoft Exchange - any user mailbox; Symantec Enterprise Vault (Exchange) - archived Exchange user mailboxes; Oracle URM - all documents. Following the initial release, AccessData plans to roll out additional content repository connectors as well.
The dtSearch Engine. The dtSearch Engine makes available dtSearch document filters and instant searching for use in a wide range of Internet, Intranet and other commercial applications. The software offers 25+ fielded and full-text search options for instantly searching terabytes of text. dtSearch's own document filters support databases, static and dynamic web data, "Office," PDF, HTML, XML, ZIP, emails (with nested attachments), and many other file types.
