RANsquawk Unveils Free Financial Mobile App Giving Users Access to Real-time Market Moving News and Rumours on the Go
RANsquawk releases a financial mobile app for users who want real-time news and rumours.
LONDON, June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- With a listener base of over 16,000 professional traders and brokers worldwide RANsquawk (http://www.ransquawk.com) has been providing real-time audio and headline feeds for news, rumours and commentary related to the UK, European and US financial markets since 2005. RANsquawk now offers a free financial mobile app to all its users who want access to top financial news and rumours.
In the current Euro crisis, markets are entirely driven by news and rumours. Without knowing what is going on in real-time, market participants can easily be caught off guard. RANsquawk's desktop application has protected many traders over the years while sitting in front of their trading screens. But until now these same traders have struggled to keep abreast of what is happening in real-time when away from their desks.
Now this will not be the case. RANsquawk's new financial mobile app for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android phones gives the user free access to real-time headlines seconds after the real-time audio is delivered by RANsquawk's team of 15 professional analysts.
As well as the real-time headlines, which can be filtered for specific news, iPhone users will also have access to selected pieces of RANsquawk research, along with daily video previews of major economic data - all for free!
"We are delighted to be able to offer something for traders, whether they are our customers or not, that allows them to keep track on the news in real-time even when they are away from their trading screens," said Ranvir Singh, Managing Director of RANsquawk. "With the current market turmoil in Europe traders need the ability to see what is happening in the financial markets at all times of the day or night whether they are at home, travelling to and from work or even having a drink at the bar. This new app gives them that ability for no extra cost."
iPhone users can download the app free from the App Store.
Android and blackberry users can log on and save the HTML5 version of the financial mobile app as a bookmark for easy use.
