CEDIA EXPO Positioned to Deliver New Products, Companies, and Trends
New dedicated areas, over 50 new exhibitors, and over 50 product launches will enhance the show experience for attendees
INDIANAPOLIS, July 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Identifying new products and companies was the primary reason for attending CEDIA EXPO in 2011, according to the 2011 CEDIA EXPO attendee survey. This year CEDIA EXPO will deliver even more ways for attendees to discover new products and explore new business opportunities.
As the industry continues to diversify and vertical markets converge, many new companies are entering the home technology space. This year, CEDIA EXPO welcomes over 50 new exhibitors to the show floor.
According to the 2011 CEDIA EXPO attendee survey, 60 percent of attendees stated they would be offering security products and services to their clients. The new Security Solutions Pavilion, sponsored by SDM, will offer a space for attendees to get questions answered about entering this space. Another top reason for attending CEDIA EXPO in 2011 was to stay up-to-date on industry trends. The Future Technology Pavilion will provide attendees an opportunity to learn about the newest solutions and business opportunities in the home technology market as they experience a day in the life of the intuitive home.
CEDIA EXPO attendees will also be exposed to a new dedicated area focused on high performance audio and video. The High Performance Experience Rooms, powered by Audioholics, will allow attendees to experience some of the most sophisticated audio and video products in the industry. Beyond the new exhibitors and dedicated areas, CEDIA EXPO attendees can also expect several new products to launch at CEDIA EXPO, currently over 50 new products are set to make their debut at CEDIA EXPO, and 68 products were entered into this year's Best New Product category of the Manufacturers Excellence Awards competition. New for 2012, winners of the Manufacturers Excellence Awards will be announced on Thursday, September 6 giving attendees an opportunity to learn about new award winning products at the show.
Each year CEDIA EXPO attracts top manufacturers, hosts leading industry education, and provides a forum to build relationships. With over 400 exhibitors and 121 product categories, CEDIA EXPO 2012 will deliver even more new solutions and opportunities to ESCs to learn and grow their business.
