Pregis acquires Inter-Pac; adds PE foam rollstock/plank capacity
DEERFIELD, Ill., Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --Pregis Corp., a leading supplier of protective packaging solutions, has acquired Inter-Pac, Inc., based in Tupelo, Miss., for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will make Pregis the largest producer of polyethylene sheet foam in the United States.

Its geographic location will be an asset in servicing the protective packaging needs of our East Coast customers. Pregis will continue to operate Inter-Pac's 180,000 square foot Tupelo manufacturing facility. Its 25 employees will be joining Pregis' 2,000-member worldwide team.
