Verizon Wireless Introducing High-Speed 4G LTE Data Network In Dublin
Nation's Largest 4G LTE Network Available In More Than 370 Markets
ALPHARETTA, Ga., Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless customers will be able to experience the blazing fast speeds and capabilities of the company's 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in Dublin when the service is introduced there on Thursday, Aug. 16. The introduction of the company's 4G LTE network in Dublin is part of Verizon Wireless' announcement today introducing its 4G LTE network in 34 new markets and expansion in 38 other markets. The nation's largest 4G LTE network will be available in a total of 371 markets and cover more than 75 percent of the U.S. population, including major metropolitan areas, small cities and many suburbs.
Customers who live in or visit areas including Dublin, Dublin Mall, Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Fairview Park Hospital, Flexsteel Industries Inc., Best Buy Distribution Center, YKK AP America, Inc., and areas along I-16 and US 80 in Laurens county now will have access to the nation's fastest 4G network.
In addition to introducing its 4G LTE network in Dublin, Verizon Wireless is also introducing the network in Cordele, Thomasville, Valdosta and Waycross in Georgia on Aug. 16.
