payvia Joins the Electronic Transactions Association Mobile Payments Committee
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --payvia, Inc. today announces that it has joined the Mobile Payments Committee of the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the trade association of the global electronic payments industry.
The recently formed Mobile Payments Committee is an industry-wide taskforce that includes top representatives from the mobile payments industry, including all four major U.S. mobile network operators. The Mobile Payments Committee was created to help develop key policy and business strategies for the overall advancement of the mobile payments industry.
payvia will work in partnership with the ETA to facilitate the global flow of e-commerce, develop and implement industry-wide solutions to foster innovation and achieve network interoperability among merchants, credit card companies, mobile networks, equipment operators and manufacturers as well as financial institutions.
