FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ECS, a rapidly-growing provider of professional engineering, information technology and business services to the US Federal Government, announces its acquisition of iLuMinA Solutions, Inc.
ECS is a mid-sized Federal contractor with more than 1,200 employees and annual revenue exceeding $200 million. ECS provides the professional skills, experience and infrastructure of a large business while maintaining the responsiveness and management attention of a small business. Through both organic contract wins and strategic acquisitions, ECS has grown at a rate of nearly 40 percent over the past ten years. In the last three years, ECS has more than doubled in size. The acquisition of iLuMinA marks ECS's third successful acquisition in 14 months.
Founded in 2005 iLuMinA has established an expertise in Federal program management, principally working with Department of Defense (DOD) clientele to answer their enterprise system IT needs, including market-leading, large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation and infrastructure design and development.
