Historically, cloud storage has offered tremendous potential for the media industry, but issues of security, speed, and integration with existing media editing platforms have created barriers to adoption. Today, DDN's WOS eliminates these issues by enabling content creators to store media from their Linux and Windows using standard file system protocols directly to private, secure media clouds, working at LAN speeds, and giving geographically distributed users the ability to share the media immediately via built-in, automated, policy-based data replication.
