Seavenger.com Significantly Bolsters Rx Swim Goggle and Prescription Dive Mask Lens Division
WALNUT, Calif., Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Seavenger.com, known as the "one-stop source for dive and surf" equipment, manufacturer and online distributor of scuba essentials, today announced the addition of a major new and exclusive line of prescription mirrored, polarized Rx swim goggles, as well as a unique, user-friendly online prescription lens calculator.

According to Andy Lu, Marketing Director at Seavenger.com, with the introduction of the Splaqua swim goggles, the retailer now offers an online first. "As far as we know, there is nothing like these prescription, mirrored Polarized swim goggles on the market today, and especially at these prices." The Splaqua mirrored polarized goggles complement the already robust series of Splaqua goggles which offer smoke and clear lenses, as well as 7 frame colors. Smoke, clear and mirrored-metalized-polarized goggles from Seavenger.com are strategically-price pointed from $19.95 to $39.95.
Lu goes on to explain why mirrored Polarized lenses are so effective. "Polarized lenses contain a special filter that blocks intense reflected light, reducing glare. They're ideal not only for open-water ocean swimming, but for indoor and outdoor pool swimming, as well."
Seavenger has also developed an exclusive on-site lens calculator that is completely self-sufficient in allowing the customer to choose the right mask or goggle diopter. "Customers are continually intimidated and confused as to how to calculate lens strength. Our web design programmers were able to develop a simple drop-down chart and calculator that reduces the whole process to a matter of seconds."
Seavenger.com has devoted over ten years building an extensive line-up and choice of mask and goggle styles with interchangeable lenses in clear, tinted and optical prescription choices from premier manufacturers such as IST. The Synthesis M200 from IST, for instance, is an aluminum-framed dual-lens mask that features low-volume, light weight and easy-fold-ability that traveling divers appreciate.
Lu maintains, "Our selection and pricing structure on prescription masks literally blows the competition out of the water. For under $60, we offer prescription optical lens masks from -1.0 to -8.0 for divers who are near-sighted, and +1.0 and +4.0 for those who are far-sighted, surgical grade crystal silicone lens skirts and polycarbonate frames. And with the recent introduction of bi-focal dive masks, we now offer prescription lens choices in bi-focal diopters for $65. For some reason, other suppliers take advantage of divers in need of gauge reader masks, charging up to $200 for the same style mask."
