New platform, Campus Grumble, ready to give college students the stronger voice they deserve

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Even the most content student body has a grumble or two they'd like to have heard. Every day, everywhere, people take to the social media airwaves to blast their university for this minor infraction, that major annoyance, or something in between. It's not that the administrators of these called-out colleges don't want to remedy a situation, but oftentimes they don't get the message, can't understand the weight of the situation, or haven't identified the best course of action.

A new website called CampusGrumble.com is launching this week and will serve as a platform for college students to air their grievances in a public forum.  Members will be able to suggest solutions, rally supporters, and have a guarantee that their concerns will be placed in front of the exact people that can help alleviate the problems. Holding tight to the touchstones of accountability, collaboration, and communication, CampusGrumble.com is primed collaborate with university administrations to improve conditions for current and future scholars across the board. 

Founder, John Kirkpatrick, a recent graduate of Wake Forest University and recognized 2008 Visa USA National Young Entrepreneur, identified the problem almost immediately upon his arrival to college.  He states, "I witnessed the downfalls of other services, such as surveys and anonymous message boards, and took what they all did right and transformed it into Campus Grumble to give tuition-paying student's the stronger voice they deserve."

The September 7, 2012 alpha release of CampusGrumble.com will consist of four schools: Wake Forest University, Elon University, High Point University, and Davidson College, but have no fear, lamenting learners, there is a promise of many more to come.
