DNA Dynamics Update On Games Development
New Sports Game in the Works
LEAMINGTON SPA, England, Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --DNA Dynamics, Inc. (OTC Pink: DNAD),a global developer and publisher of mobile video games and applications, is today updating the markets on it's current games and what's in its development pipeline.
Warheads Battle
As we recently announced, "Warheads Medieval Tales" has successfully made the transition to "Warheads Battle" along with pulling in over 100,000 players. This update to the game overhauls the 'new player experience', making it easier for players to get into the game and to progress. Building upon those principals, today we are submitting another new update of the game into the AppStore. This update is focused on increasing player retention over the long term and engaging our players in a much more effective way. The third iteration of the updated Warheads Battle will be completed by the mid-November - this version aims to start the journey towards an increase in revenue and focuses on monetization. A host of new features are set to be included and we believe it really will now start to become one of our more successful titles.
Kevin Corti, recently appointed Head of Studio commented, "taking Warheads back to basics was the first thing I did when I came on board at DNA. The game shows so much promise, however, it missed the mark on several fronts. It was bringing in an impressive amount of users and had great reviews in the industry as well as on the AppStores, but that was not reflected in the revenue it was hitting - this landscape is changing and, with these releases, I cannot wait to see the revenue start to increase over the coming weeks."
The Naked Gun
Another DNA property undergoing a change is "The Naked Gun", with an updated version of the original game featuring improved visuals and increases in device compatibility. This new version is now live in the Apple AppStore. A second new version of the title, which is 'Free to Download', is also now available in the AppStore. Once players reach a certain point in this free version they will then have to update the game via an in-app purchase to continue. We feel that this approach will help us reach out to a whole new audience and engage with a playerbase that would never have experience what The Naked Gun has to offer.
Looking Ahead - an exciting new title on the works.
We have recently started work on a social sports title; the game is based around one of the best-loved sports in North America and is our first truly casual social title. There is currently nothing like this game in the marketplace and all at DNA are greatly looking forward to its release in Q1 2013. We're currently speaking with a number of major publishers and marketing partners to bring this game to market and have already received substantial interest from several parties. We expect to be in a position to sign a key new partner to help us take this to market after the GDC Online event in October 2012.
