Rent2Buy Launches Android App To Bolster Safety, Security With A Location Base Search For Rent2Buy Cars
Rent2Buy's new mobile app provides a convenient tool for both renters and owners in the peer-to-peer car sharing and purchase space
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rent2Buy, the New York-based social car-sharing platform that connects buyers and sellers, today announced the launch of a new app available as a free download on Google Play. As a popular peer-to-peer car-sharing tool, Rent2Buy's new app seamlessly connects individual renters to owners, allowing renters to test a vehicle before making the decision to purchase.
Rent2Buy's app makes car sharing more convenient and secure for both renters and buyers. Once a reservation is made, the apps allows car owners and renters to conduct a paperless vehicle inspection on the spot. The car's condition is recorded in the app via pictures of the vehicle, ranging from the state of the tires, to any dings in the paint. These pictures are taken on the spot, and are proof of the car's current condition. Both parties sign the electronic document and then receive an emailed confirmation. This extra security feature gives both car owners and renters peace of mind when lending and renting vehicles.
