Multiven Unveils Oyster, a Cloud-Based Service That Simplifies IT Network Asset Inventory and Management

ZURICH, September 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

Multiven today announced the launch of Oyster, a cloud-based service that simplifies
the way organizations inventory and manage all the devices and equipment that make up
their IT network. Multiven Oyster gives the IT network a social identity that enables
organizations to track the purpose, cost and status of all IT network devices from
procurement to decommissioning while fostering organization-wide collaboration across
departments and geographies, all in the cloud, with no software to download, install or
maintain.

Some of the main features of Multiven Oyster include:

        - Device Profiles: Users can create unique profiles for all their IT devices
ranging from routers, switches, firewalls, tablets, smartphones and even their
software assets, all of which can be followed.
        - Device-level Analytics and Reports: Dynamic device statistics are presented in
a unified view of analytical data and updates.
        - Device QR Codes: Each device gets its own unique QR code that can be printed
and placed on the device enabling on-the-go scanning for up-to-date device data.
        - Organization-wide collaboration: Multiven Oyster enables cross-functional
collaboration between procurement, engineering, operations and all other IT
          stakeholders within an organization.

"With Multiven Oyster, IT network devices now have their own unique social identity
that provides stakeholders with real-time insight into the purpose, cost and status of
each device from procurement to de-commissioning and ultimately to residual monetization,"
stated Peter Alfred-Adekeye, Multiven Founder & CEO. "In the coming months, we will
continue to enhance the Oyster platform to further enhance device-to-people and
device-to-device collaboration."

Multiven Oyster is free for up to 50 devices and is now available worldwide. To get
started, users can sign up at http://www.multiven.com with their work email address.
Once logged into the Multiven Oyster dashboard, users can begin to add and update assets
