ProTexting.com Wants to Know: Is Text Messaging Funny?
Vote for the best video Oct 15--18
NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobile Marketing company ProTexting paired with America's most loved Comedian Wali Collins to make a series of four comedy videos showing just how funny text messaging can be.
This is the first time ever that text messaging was incorporated into a Standup Comedy routine. It's also the first time a mobile marketing company has worked with a professional Comedian to tell their story and deliver their message about the power of text messaging. Another first--this is the first time a Comedian created a hilarious improv routine using texting and technology before a live audience.
Today the first video "Goat" will post on the ProTexting.com Facebook page. Every Thursday for four weeks a new video will post. During the week of Oct 15-18 viewers on Facebook can vote for the best video. The winning video will be announced Thursday, Oct 18.

We are all excited to see the launch of the videos and can't wait to hear the feedback from the public!"
The new creative campaign was a collaboration among Comedian Wali Collins, ProTexting.com CEO Kalin Kassabov, and film director Alex Vachon of Cartouche Creations, LLC. Dani Zoldan, owner of the legendary comedy club StandUpNY, located on the upper west side, said he was happy to offer the location for the shoot. The four videos feature Wali Collins doing a standup routine wrapped completely around the text messages being sent to his phone from a live audience. Of the comedy video experience, Wali Collins says it best, "I had a great time making history!"
