LARGO, Fla., Oct. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Valpak Direct Marketing Systems, Inc., a leader in local print and digital coupons, has enhanced its iOS app, enabling consumers to now add their favorite local coupons from Valpak to the new iOS 6 Passbook(®), which makes saving money on-the-go seamless and easier than ever.
Passbook, announced by Apple last week, makes it easy for consumers to organize, manage and retrieve local coupons, loyalty cards, and other money-saving information from one place. "We certainly recognize the significant consumer convenience this brings," said Michael Vivio, president of Cox Target Media, provider of Valpak. "Now that Valpak is integrated with Passbook, it's easier than ever for consumer's to interact with their favorite small businesses using this leading edge technology."

"The digital wallet space - which takes the consumer from marketplace to purchase in a few easy steps - makes for an even more seamless transaction," said Vivio. "We have great potential and possibilities that are growing every day by being in the mail, online and on the phone."
According to the USA Today article, Worldwide mobile payment transactions will grow from $171 billion in 2012 to $617 in 2016.
