NATICK, Mass., Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Online retailer Erie Drive (ErieDrive.com) and WiOffer (WiO®) announced a strategic alliance to feature Erie Drive on WiO, the new mobile app platform which is set to revolutionize the TV watching experience by allowing customers to immediately get information about the products and services they see advertised on television and radio.

"We're excited to be involved with the launch of the WiO app. Its technology aligns perfectly with our audience - smart, forward thinking, on-the-move, and above all, technology-savvy," said Erie Drive CEO John Gavin. " We see the importance and growth of the smartphone and tablet market, and WiO gives us a key to tapping into that emerging audience."

Matthew Greene, Co-Founder of WiO added that "even though Erie Drive is not yet a TV advertiser, we've been able to accommodate these great brands  by delivering their unique offers, promotions and relevant information via our Hero Page which we think will interest and excite our users."

Creative Director Alexandra Grenham concurs. "We always want to bring our customers closer to the Erie Drive experience, and apps like WiO help us achieve that goal. Our hand-selected inventory comes from the famous street markets of London and Paris, in addition to our finds from American markets. The WiO app brings us closer to the people who can't necessarily get to these markets, but who want to find quality gifts and home items at their fingertips."
