GreenPath Debt Solutions offers new webinar on kids and financial literacy
Hour-long discussion set for Oct. 10 at noon EDT; Free sign-up online
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Oct. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, October 10 at noon, EDT, GreenPath Debt Solutions, a nationwide, non-profit credit counseling organization, will present a new online webinar, offering tips to help parents introduce kids to the concepts of budgeting and personal finance, and the responsible use of money.
The free webinar "Teaching Kids Financial Literacy" will provide an hour-long look at practical tips on how to incorporate valuable lessons about money and kids into everyday life. Time is allotted for questions and answers at the end of the program.
"It's never too early to start teaching your kids the basics of finances," said Megan Bridgett, GreenPath training manager. "Since many school curriculums are lacking in this area, it's important to get started at home."
The program is part of GreenPath's Webinar Wednesday, hosted by GreenPath University, the educational arm of GreenPath Debt Solutions.
