Wilson Electronics Introduces New Line of 4G Indoor Cellular Signal Boosters at MobileCON 2012
Three new multi-frequency boosters amplify signals for devices on AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile 4G networks, as well as voice and data on all carriers' legacy networks
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Wilson Electronics (http://www.WilsonElectronics.com), manufacturer of North America's top-selling line of cellular signal boosters, announces its latest line of 4G indoor signal boosters built to improve voice and data communications in buildings with weak cellular signal.

These multi-band boosters amplify signals for devices operating on AT&T,(®) Verizon Wireless(TM) or T-Mobile(TM) 4G networks, as well as signals on the legacy networks of all North American cellular service providers. The three new Wilson boosters are on display Oct. 9 -11 in booth 717 at MobileCON in the San Diego Convention Center.
Benefits of these boosters include fewer dropped connections and no-service "dead zones," faster data transfer rates and improved battery life for cellular device users inside buildings with these boosters installed.
Newer thermally efficient office and commercial buildings - even residences - constructed to comply with stringent seismic and fire codes often prevent cellular signals from penetrating their exterior walls and low-emittance (low-E) windows.
"Even in areas covered by strong cellular signal, wireless service customers inside buildings often cannot access reliable service," said Laine Matthews, director of business development at Wilson Electronics. "These boosters amplify available signals and bring them inside the building so people working, living or shopping have strong, reliable cell service for voice or data."
The new Wilson boosters include:
-- Tri-band 4G-V - for devices operating on Verizon's 4G LTE network
-- Tri-band 4G-A - for devices operating on AT&T's 4G LTE network
-- Tri-band 4G-C - for devices operating on the 1700/2100 MHz frequency
band, which includes T-Mobile 4G in the U.S. as well as 4G and other
service for Canadian carriers
All three new models boost existing cellular and PCS frequency bands and services in addition to their specific 4G frequencies.
Like all Wilson indoor signal boosters, these new models feature cell site protection technologies, developed through cooperative effort between Wilson and several major cellular carriers, that prevent the possibility of interference with any nearby cell tower.
