Del Frisco's Restaurant Group Announces New Mobile Websites and Application Making Experience Even Easier for Guests
Using mobile devices, guests will be able to stay connected to Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Sullivan's Steakhouse and Del Frisco's Grille
SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Oct. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Del Frisco's Restaurant Group (DFRG) announced that it has made it easier for "guests on the go" to stay connected to their favorite restaurants with the launch of three new mobile websites for each of its concepts, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Sullivan's Steakhouse and Del Frisco's Grille. The new sites will serve guests who are now primarily using their smart phones and tablets to browse the internet. Additionally, the company has developed two mobile applications for regular guests of Sullivan's and Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House.
The new websites are optimized for mobile devices, allowing for an easy-to-use mobile web experience. The sites highlight key pieces of information that meet the needs of the growing population of mobile users and business travelers. Once cumbersome activities such as making reservations, browsing menus and finding directions are now easily performed in a stylish user experience. Additionally, guests can toggle among all three of DFRG's award-winning concepts on one site and can view current features, photos and connect through social media and the restaurants' e-mail clubs.
With an estimated 250 million smart phones in use in the United States, it's vital to have a site that users can browse clearly and navigate with accuracy. DFRG's mobile sites will not only make for a more seamless experience for current guests, they will increase the likelihood that new guests looking for restaurants with great steaks, fantastic wine selections and great service will find the company's restaurants through online searches.
"This is an exciting time for restaurants, as there are more ways than ever for us to connect with our guests, be discovered by new guests and extend our hospitality beyond the walls of our restaurants," said Mark Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco's Restaurant Group. "We hope our mobile presence will give our guests a more convenient way to stay engaged with their local restaurants and offer more opportunities to share their dining experience with friends and family."
The mobile application, available on Blackberry and iPhone, adds a layer of local connectivity and social media access for fans of Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House and Sullivan's Steakhouse. In addition to the features of the mobile site, the application displays local events calendars, which include live music schedules, wine dinners, special menus and other events. Fans of the restaurants can easily "check-in" through their favorite social media channels and can interact with other guests, discover daily features and learn more about what is happening locally through their city's Facebook page. Additionally, they can share dining experiences with one-touch access to Yelp and through the live Twitter feed.
