EQSA500RB-1A Offers Smart Access Technology with Unique Red Bull Design
DOVER, N.J., Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio America, Inc. is proud to announce its collaboration with Red Bull Racing, as an Official Team Partner of the Formula One racing team based in England, to create a limited edition EDIFICE men's watch - the EQSA500RB-1A. Built with Casio's original Smart Access Technology, the EQSA500RB-1A offers advanced functionality in addition to style and comfort.

Embodied by a striking stainless steel case and band, the EQSA500RB-1A watch dial incorporates Red Bull Racing's blue and red team colors as well as their dynamic logo. A highly evolved chronograph, based on Casio EDIFICE's philosophy of "speed and intelligence," the EQSA500RB-1A's sporty yet sophisticated design emphasizes the vitality of motorsports racing.

The EQSA500RB-1A is equipped with Casio's unique Smart Access Technology. Casio's Smart Access permits easier, more intuitive operation of multiple functions by controlling independent hand movement, made possible by a new 5-motor layout, via an electronic crown. For example, the chronograph can record up to 10 lap times at an accuracy of 1/20(th) second and lap time results can be accessed using the electronic crown's pull and turn motion.
Speaking at the launch in Monza at the Italian Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull Racing's double Formula One World Champion, commented, "The watch shares the same attributes that Red Bull Racing needs for success - precision, speed and of course, the highest level of technology in our racing cars.
