The testing was conducted by the Certification Commission for Health Information
Technology (CCHIT(R)), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable Eligible Provider
certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The
2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify
eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act (ARRA).
"This certification is important for our North American RIS customers as a way to
secure income by qualifying for EHR incentive payments and as protection against the
planned reduction in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements," says Vice President of
Research and Development for Sectra, Kevin Collins.
Sectra RIS, Version 7.0's certification number is CC-1112-100053-1 and was certified
on November 19, 2012. Sectra RIS meets the following certification criteria:
170.302(a)(c-j)(o-v) and 170.304(c-j). The clinical quality measures to which it has been
certified include: NQF 0421, 0013, 0028, 0041, 0024, 0038, 0061, 0031 and 0027. ONC-ATCB
2011/2012 certification conferred by CCHIT does not represent an endorsement of the
certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services nor does it
guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
Sectra RIS, Version 7.0 will be displayed in Booth #7118 at the Radiological Society
of North America (RSNA 2012).
