New iPhone App SwapViva Empowers Users To Trade, Buy & Sell Items
Seattle Startup Launches Clean, Easy-to-Use Mobile Tool for Online Bartering
SEATTLE, Dec. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Looking to exchange that unwanted Christmas gift with little hassle? Forget Craigslist. There's now a free app that's easy-to-use right on your iPhone or iPad.
SwapViva allows its members to post pictures and descriptions of products and services they'd like to sell, trade or barter using their mobile device. Members receive emails notifications on active items they're buying or selling.
"The idea is someone's trash is someone's treasure. Using SwapViva, buyers and sellers can interact on a clean app interface," said Mihai Draghici, SwapViva founder and developer. "We're also big fans of the television show Barter Kings, which was the inspiration to give our members the unique option to trade merchandise and services."
Once members join SwapViva, they may browse for merchandise using the search field. Items in a member's profile are divided into three categories: Selling It, Pending Action and Buying It. For a detailed explanation, check out the promotional video.
