The Alcatel Authority delivers an Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS smartphone experience with a fast 1.4GHz processor that enables simple and powerful HD video and photo sharing with its 5.0 megapixel rear facing auto focus camera and VGA front facing camera. The 4.3 -inch WVGA color capacitive touch display is built with highly durable Dragontrail(TM) glass and with the spacious screen, customers will enjoy an ease of navigation, more enjoyment when viewing photos, videos or reading news on their favorite social media platforms.
The Authority can be used as a mobile hotspot and with one of Cricket's value-rich data plans, allows for tethering of up to 5 devices and comes out of the box with DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) support for wireless multimedia streaming. DLNA media streaming allows compatible devices, such as mobile phones and PCs, to seamlessly share videos, pictures, music, and more via a local network connection, such as a home Wi-Fi network.
