Training Renames Fall Event Online Learning Conference 2013

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Back by popular demand, Training magazine's fall Learning 3.0 Conference returns to its roots and its original name: Online Learning Conference. Training's Online Learning Conference 2013 will take place September 18-19 at Chicago's McCormick Place Lakeside Center. Online Learning 2013 will provide how-to, skill-building content and showcase how innovators are solving business problems for their organizations by leveraging learning technologies to make their learning blend more cohesive, immediate, intuitive, inclusive, and immersive. The event also will explore new trends, technologies, and learning models that are taking learning to the next level.
Training's first Online Learning conference was held in 1998, according to Phil Jones, VP of Market Strategy for Training magazine. "We're pleased to go back to the core roots we had with our very successful Online Learning conference," he says. "As the name did back then, 'Online Learning' concisely and accurately describes the conference's content and encompasses the array of technologies that should be on the radar of today's training professionals."
