MobileConnect is a (BYOD) Bring-Your-Own-Device model that offers cloud-driven VoIP, video call/conferencing, IM and collaboration capabilities, which combine for one powerful office in your pocket.  Users maintain one identity for voice, video and instant messaging and presence. Among its advantages, MobileConnect allows users to:

--  Move from one device to another without call interruption
--  Synchronize call logs, buddy lists and service settings across all
        devices
--  Communicate on multiple services with a single online identity
--  Instantly view the presence of contacts
--  Share information and collaborate with ease using desktop sharing and
        virtual meeting room features
Participating at Channel Partners with Telesphere is BroadSoft, Inc.(®) the leading provider of software that enables mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to offer unified communications over Internet Protocol networks, such as Telesphere's private MPLS network, the largest in the nation.  MobileConnect utilizes BroadSoft's award-winning UC-One(®) platform. UC-One is a comprehensive, open unified communications platform that includes the key elements service providers can leverage to rapidly introduce their UC offers, including a superior user experience, mobility, openness and go-to-market support. UC-One enables service providers to tailor a wide-range of successful solutions for the specific market segments they serve in order to meet the varied communications needs of individual users.

"Telesphere is one of our most innovative partners and we are excited to be a part of their MobileConnect introduction," said Leslie Ferry, vice president marketing, BroadSoft.  "Our mission with UC-One is to ensure individuals have access to the unified communications services they require to remain productive for an increasingly mobile workforce.  We are thrilled Telesphere is leveraging UC-One to meet the needs of their enterprise customers."

To officially launch MobileConnect, Telesphere and BroadSoft are unveiling a massive 8-foot-tall, 3,200 pound aquarium developed by the creative team of Acrylic Tank Manufacturing from Animal Planet's hit show, "Tanked." Telesphere's telephone-themed aquarium, modeled from the latest HD business phone, is unlike any other in the world, and was designed to display the evolution from analog phones to unified cloud communications.  Buried treasure of encased phone parts provides the backdrop for exotic fish that will inhabit the 300-gallon display, which showcases the shift from traditional premises-based business phone service to cloud communications and the integration of mobile devices to ensure on-demand business communication regardless of location.

The "Big Reveal" of the "MobileConnect Aquarium" is occurring at 4 p.m. today while representatives of Telesphere take part in filming an episode of "Tanked" that will air on the Animal Planet Network in April.  The Big Reveal is being taped before a live audience during the MobileConnect launch celebration, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Telesphere Booth #3009, at Channel Partners Show, Venetian-Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.  The aquarium will be permanently installed in Telesphere's headquarters following the conclusion of the trade show.  "Tanked" returns to the air Friday, March 7, at 10 p.m.

Kristi Brown, vice president of Marketing at Telesphere, stated, "MobileConnect is our most advanced mobility tool, and there is no better team to illustrate its use in action than our long-time customers, Wayde King and Brett Raymer, of  Acrylic Tank Manufacturing. Using MobileConnect, the team at ATM has an unmatched collaboration tool for their mobile devices.  They can now host video meetings with clients online; share information in real time with manufacturers; collaborate in online meetings with parts suppliers from around the world at the touch of a button.  The communication goes well beyond voice, enabling seamless desktop sharing, text, sms, voice and presence features using an iPhone, iPad, Android tablet, smart phone or desktop."
