SchoolInfoApp Introduces Innovative New Features for School and District Mobile Apps
Digital Student ID's, Hall Passes and More Now Included in Branded School Apps
RUSTON, La., March 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Students no longer have to awkwardly wear ID badges or worry about replacing lost cards. A Hall Pass no longer means carrying a wooden stick or paper slip around campus. Mobile apps by SchoolInfoApp (http://www.schoolinfoapp.com) now allow students to securely display their official School ID on their iPhone, Android or other smartphone complete with scannable barcodes and pertinent information. Another new feature allows teachers to issue digital Hall Passes that bring a school's out-of-class management policies and procedures into the 21(st) century.

These innovative features are just part of SchoolInfoApp's latest update to their portfolio of apps currently in use in over 600 schools and districts throughout the US, UK and Canada. The update also gives users the ability to get content and notifications translated into more than 15 languages for students and their parents who might not speak English as their first language. And, it provides teachers a safe, secure one-way messaging platform to send out class news, homework reminders, announcements and more through push notifications that can even include documents, pictures and other files.
