Sagemcom has designed a compact yet very powerful Ultra HD set-top box, with an embedded 3x3 Wi-Fi ac for an excellent wireless connection to the network. This next generation product is the vehicle for a 4K OTT solution.
The integration of Android Lollipop in these devices allows the company to offer a performing 4K UHD Android TV set-top box to its customers. Such a platform has been already selected by operators, and first commercial deployment is planned before year-end.
The first Sagemcom residential gateway Docsis 3.1 32x8 will also be showcased during IBC.
