In an undoubtedly controversial release, Recon.com became the first major
gay hook-up website to have a dedicated iPhone app approved by Apple(TM).
Commenting on the release, Andrew Barham, Director for Recon.com, said
"Getting the app to this point has been an interesting challenge for us. The
fetish nature and content of our site means that occasionally we get a raised
eyebrow from some more conservative onlookers. We've invested a lot of effort
in designing an application that ensures that we walk the right side of the
line as far as content and imagery is concerned."
