In the history of ASE Labs, there have been times of great traffic, and times of low traffic. Right now, we are in the latter.
I'll give you a brief history of the trends that made the people come:
Leaving DSL Reports and forming a precursor to these forms (from Chris of all people).
A situation at Anandtech which lead people from their SETI team here briefly. (Now at http://www.team-tnt.net)
My single post of Inuyasha that lead many hits from Anime lovers (thanks to indexing from Google).
Random one or two day spurts of a really worthwhile articles.
There have been more minor ones, but these are what I remember to be the biggest draws.
Now I ask you, the current member of ASE Forums, what would you like to see here? I guess I'm asking what would drive people to the site. It has been one of my largest goals to operate forums that contain a wealth of people and increase readership of the main site along the process.
2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!
Yes we are definetly in a slow time. I posted something 3 days ago and it was the most recent writing. I definetly thought the return of anime forums would bring back the crowds but it didn't. COME BACK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
