A: Nope, never been that bored, but you must be too young to have seen the commercial where the Wise old Owl tells us it takes three licks. ONE, TWO, THREE, CRUNCH and he bites it...lol See -> <a href="http://www.tootsie.com/howmany-sb.html">How many licks?</a>
A. I don't know, hopefully you'll earn back what you spent in some weird twist and don't end up totally poor. Even if you do, and just want to kill yourself in the end, you'll always have that education... I guess...
Q. What should I do today?
People with courage and character always seem sinister to the rest.
A: You should send me money to buy a book.
Q: Should I go through all the trouble to straighten my hair or take the risk of it being frizzy as well as wavy?
A: I guess it is possible (if you had a heart attack or something )
Q: Did you know that Locks of Love only uses about 3% of the hair that is donated?
P.S.- In my not so humble opinion Areamike, I wouldn't donate your hair to Locks of Love or Anyone for that matter. My hair is down to my shoulders, and I am growing it longer and I have been bullied by people from that organization (and others who support it) to donate my hair. When I said I grew this hair for me, not them they said I was being selfish! Ha. Yeah, I spend over a year growing out my hair and going through numerous awkward phases and they have the tenacity to pronounce that I am being selfish! It's my hair damn it and I can do what I want with it. They only use 3% of the hair donated and the rest is desposed of. Besides, half the hair they actually make hairpieces out of, they sell when they are a CHARITY and they won't provide any hairpieces to young boys who are bald because it is "socially acceptable for males to have short hair, shaved hair, or even be bald." What a load of shit! Bald kids, be they male or female deserve equal opportunity for hairpieces if you ask me. Anything otherwise and you are being sexist. What I am trying to say is if you want to grow your hair long for you because you like it, go for it! If you are growing your hair for some "charity" however, just go back to having short hair and save yourself the headache (long hair is high maintenance). But if you think I am making this up you can read about it here http://hairboutique.com/askkaren/askkaren-09-2000.htm or here http://www.give.org/reports/care2_dyn.asp?733 for starters. There are several more websites that address the same topic. Ok, I am done ranting...
"If you leave you life in someone else's hands, you only have yourself to blame if you get crushed. "
Q: Why do we feed people on Death Row? Aren't there hungry people in the world NOT on Death Row?
P.S. samurai kai, You bring up some very good points. I have thought very hard here lately about it and to be honest I am straddling the fence right now. It sure is a lot of work just to give away...hell my hair only about three inches long or so right now and of course looks liek crap and is already becoming high maintenance. But I love it much better than when I had it short all the time. I already get a tons of compliments from Ladies and Gents alike. Guys are jealous and the ladies..welll they kinda woo over it..It's flattering to say the least.
