You now have the option of notifying on replies directly when posting to a topic.

If you uncheck the box when adding a reply, it'll take you off notification.

Just another suggestion...I'd like to see the notifications default to EMAIL or both PM and EMAIL..instead of just PM.
Others may find that intrusive though.

Yeah, that is a bit intrusive. PM must stay as the default option.
