Venture Brothers is back, and awesome. Mon Jun 2, 2008 10:06:23 AM#56757Perm Link
Last nights episode was pretty bitchin'. Tied up a lot of loose ends that I didn't even know existed. I loved the ending, too.
Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today? Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection. Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!
I really do love season 3. It is probably my favorite of them all so far. I like how well tonight's episode wrapped up so many loose ends. When combined with episode one, nearly all of the backstory is now filled in, with only Rusty's father's death still unexplained.
Also, the piece of dialogue the colonel gave made me completely lose it. "The Village people called, and they want you to fucking kill yourself." Just plain win.

I love the Venture Brothers. but i'm still iffy about adult swim i still don't like it how i liked it before it was way cooler with the action stuff back then and wth is up with the FAT GUY STUCK IN THE INTERNET CRAP!!!??? (maybe i should understand the whole "aquired taste" stuff.
I used to like Adult Swim a lot more back when they had Home Movies, Space Ghost, the Brak Show, the real OGs. I do dig on Venture Bros though. Still pushing through the second season, I caught on a little late
Its not who a person is in the inside, but what he does that defines him.
Hm its annoying some episodes are good though.
it has no plot really, at least venture bros and athf or even metalacolyppse has it.
but home movies a kid making movies WTF?!
I wasn't usually a fan of Home Movies because there were a lot of episodes I didn't like. There were some pretty good one, though.

My god. Last night's episode was perfection...
Easily my favorite episode of the entire show's run. I was laughing from start to finish.

That must be it. That episode had everything, and its self references were awesome.

I just wasn't feeling last night's episode. I think I know what they were trying to do, but many of the scenes kind of fell flat.

I haven't laughed hard at all yet. The fourth episode was the best so far.
Agree with you, like the 4th episode...
In the UK the mash dvds has been released .
I know that this is just opionon but I think that the show was and still is just amazing. So many times people in the UK think that Amercian comedy is to sweet and syrupy.

They probably will have it up on the AS site by the end of the week.

I thought last weeks was pretty good, though I agree that the humour of the original episodes just isn't there anymore.
