The fact is that Microsoft Internet Explorer is the most compatible and widely used browser on the market. More problems will be found with a program that is used by a greater number of people, than by a program run by only a handful. It didn't take long after X number of downloads of Mozilla until they found a major security bug with extentions portion of the browser.

And not to give any props to MS, to say they do NOTHING is a false. They put out security patches, fixes all the time. That sounds like more than NOTHING.

Also, I've had MAJOR problems trying to get IE to run on Linux.
