Rep: I've had that problem too, when hitting print screen to take screenshots, all I would get is a black box when I pasted it into a paint program.
To solve that, you need to disable hardware acceleration. Right click on the desktop, go to the Settings tab and click Advanced. Then go to the Troubleshoot tab and make sure Hardware acceleration is set to None. Hope that helps
